Lot 2077 WINCHESTER MODEL 75 SPORTING BOLT ACTION RIFLE.
Cal. 22 LR. S# 68460. Bbl. 23 3/4". Model 75 Sporting bolt action rifle mfg. by Winchester in 1949. Left side of the bbl. exhibits standard factory markings denoting Winchester's mfg. information, as well as the model and cal. designations. Metal components exhibit a blue finish overall, save for on the bolt body, which is polished in-the-white. 1-piece checkered wood pistol grip buttstock, with grooved steel buttplate. Ramped and hooded brass beaded blade front sight, with receiver mounted Lyman 57ES adj. aperture rear sight (aperture disc is absent). Bbl. rear sight slot is fitted with a slot blank. MAGS: 1 5-rd. CONDITION: metal components retain the majority of their original factory blue finish overall, exhibiting some light to mild edge wear, scattered spots of dark mild surface oxidation on the right side of the bbl. (towards the muzzle), with scattered spots of light surface oxidation present overall. Bolt knob and handle exhibit areas of wear and thinning that show through to gray patina. Mirror bore, retaining well defined rifling throughout. Stock shows scattered marks and minor impressions from handling and storage, but otherwise remains sturdy and serviceable.
